2019 Artists of the Limberlost Studio Tour

The rugged, natural beauty of Limberlost is evident as you travel along the winding roads from studio to studio during the Artists of the Limberlost Studio Tour on August 17 and 18 from 10 am to 5 pm.

Look for our brochures in local Muskoka stores or tourist stops and plan your trip. You can see the newest work of 17 artists in 6 studios, ask questions of the makers and take home a treasured work of art. See art where it is created!

The rugged landscape of the Canadian Shield has inspired artists for over a century, and this is the place we call home. You are invited to discover for yourself how the creative tradition continues. Meet the makers and experience our studios and workshops. You’ll find nature-inspired pottery, jewellery, fiber art and clothing, driftwood and stone sculpture, paintings in many styles and media, hand-forged knives, woodturned burl art, and rustic and fine furniture.

Limberlost Road is close to Algonquin Park in the Huntsville/Lake of Bays area of Muskoka Ontario, and winds through forest, rock and wetlands rich in wildlife and natural beauty from this source. We welcome guests to our studios at other times in addition to our Tour weekend. Check individual Studio pages on this website for contact information.

Catherine O’Mara has captured the luminous quality of the trees and sky in her painting “Evening at Limberlost”.
