In these days of isolation, we know the value of art and creativity. If at all possible, the annual Artists of the Limberlost Studio Tour will be on Aug. 15-16, 2020 from 10 am to 4 pm. We hope you will visit 7 studios to see the work of 21 diverse and talented artists along a compact 20 km route.
The rugged landscape of the Canadian Shield has inspired artists for over a century, and this is the place we call home. You are invited to discover for yourself how the creative tradition continues.
Meet the makers and experience our studios and workshops. You’ll find nature-inspired pottery, jewellery, fiber art and clothing, driftwood and stone sculpture, paintings in many styles and media, hand-forged knives, functional art and fine furniture crafted from burl and local wood.
Limberlost Road is close to Algonquin Park in the Huntsville/Lake of Bays area of Muskoka Ontario, and winds through forest, rock and wetlands rich in wildlife and natural beauty. We welcome guests to our studios at other times in addition to our Tour weekend. Check individual Studio pages on this website for contact information.
