Oxbow Lodge Studio is the 8th stop on the Artists of the Limberlost Studio Tour. Oxbow Community Club a safe, quiet, and co-operatively owned vacation spot ideally located between Huntsville and nearby Dwight. It spans 98 treed acres formerly known as Oxbow Lodge and surrounds a small, contained lake with no passway from other lakes, providing 700 ft of beautiful waterfront and private, sandy beach that is great for swimming and fishing. This lesbian cottage community offers cottages for rent to all gay-positive people. Three artists will welcome you to the Oxbow Lodge Studio. Terri Howell’s Muskoka and Algonquin Park landscape paintings will be on exhibit and Karen Gray will display her brightly coloured pottery and wall hangings. New to the Artists of the Limberlost is Bonnie Bews with her vibrant paintings on glass. Bonnie can tell you more about the art form of Hinterglas.
