Using Sgrafitto technique, Karen carves detailed images into functional pottery and artistic wall hangings. Karen’s designs are inspired by life on the Canadian Shield and range from brightly coloured dragonflies, to woodland critters, canoes, northern lights to floral designs of poppies and sunflowers. This technique of carving images into clay allows Karen to specialize in custom orders, including custom cottage platters and personalized wedding gifts.

When not a guest on Artists of Limberlost Tour, Karen can be found in her Huntsville studio at 16 Brunel Road.  Open year round.
